Like all charities CHAS @ St Vincent's relies on support from our local community. All of our advice and support work is free to those who need our help; so we'd be delighted if you can help us finance these valuable services.

You can help us help others by organising or joining in a fundraising event - We will help you promote it on this website.

You can help us help others by becoming a friend of our

Every Little Helps, So Here Are Some Ideas That You and Your Friends Can Do to Help Support CHAS @ St Vincent's...

Cake and bun sales are easy and fun to do; or why not do samosas, bahjis and pakoras for a change. Hold one in your church, your school or we can help you set one up in our Allenby House or Sunbridge Road Shops.

Every year the St Vincent de Paul Society holds several sponsored walks. You can opt to do a walk to raise funds for CHAS @ St Vincent's.

The nearest walk to our area is the Three Yorkshire Peaks which is usually held in June every year. If you are interested in taking part on behalf of CHAS @ St Vincent's, then please e-mail us on info@svphelpinglocally.org.uk and we will send you the details.

CHAS @ St Vincent's holds several events to publicise our services. Sometimes they will be Open Days in one of our premises, or sometimes we join in other organisations' events. You can help by gathering prizes for raffles and games, by collecting donations from local shops or joining in on the day and telling people about our work.

We hold an annual quiz in October; you can help us raise funds by simply coming along with your friends! Or if you would like to get more involved you can help with the supper.
