Bradford Metropolitan District Council:
Bradford Metropolitan District Council supports CHAS in a variety of ways.  All our Advice and Support Services and Furniture scheme receive annual grants through the Community Funding Unit. We have also previously received grants from Bradford South and Bradford West Area Committees to deliver emergency furniture packs in their areas.  In 2007 we worked in conjunction with BMDC's Environmental Services to deliver the STAR (Second Time ARound) project.  In addition to financial support, BMDC referred requests for bulky waste collections to CHAS, promoted our services through their Call Centres and began to look at potential ways we can work together to prevent reuseable household goods from entering landfill.

Incommunities Ltd (formerly Bradford Community Housing Trust):
CHAS @ St Vincent's provides independent Debt Advice to clients of Incommunities Ltd under a contractual agreement. The service is offered both at City House Office and at surgeries held in their area offices.  CHAS has had a Debt service since June 2001. Incommunities commision CHAS to carry out this Advice for their clients to help them maintain their tenancies and prevent homelessness amongst their clients.
